Coaching through perimenopause

Midlife can be an overwhelming time. We can experience a huge range of perimenopause symptoms (psychological as well as physiological), during a time of our lives when we might also have more external demands being placed on us than ever before (such as holding more senior roles at work and caring for both our children and our parents). I see lots of fabulous women losing confidence, in the work place and more generally, during this time.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. It can also be an exciting time of change, where you can start to focus on what really matters to you and step into a new, more liberated version of yourself.

As a coach I can help by giving you:

  • time and space that is just for you, to talk about anything that may be on your mind;

  • support to help you figure out your priorities and feel confident and ready to take positive next steps; and

  • empathy, understanding and gentle challenge where appropriate.

And, specifically to support you through perimenopause, I can bring also the following skills to our sessions:

  • Perimenopause can sometimes cause us to lose confidence and experience more anxiety than we normally do. If that is the case, I can incorporate tapping sessions into our coaching, to lower the cortisol in your body and calm your brain, allowing you to break free from limiting beliefs and consider truer and more inspiring alternatives going forward.

  • Many women can also start to suspect they have ADHD at this time, as the hormonal fluctuations we are experiencing can create symptoms that are either similar to those of ADHD (eg brain fog, emotional dysregulation and lower executive functioning) or exacerbate ADHD symptoms we may have been able to manage up to that point. As an ADHD Coach, I can support you with these issues (whether or not you actually have ADHD!).

I offer online sessions, or if you’re willing and able to travel to South Manchester, we can meet in person. In-person sessions will incur an additional fee of £12 per session to help cover room hire costs.
